enevex® CP19 Car Paint Protection

enevex® CP19 Car Paint Protection is one of the hardest ceramic coatings from enevex and is used on painted body surfaces to provide long-lasting protection. The very thin protective layer bonds permanently to the surface through a chemical reaction and is extremely dirt-repellent, resilient and hard. This protective layer extremely deepens the shine and color of the painted surface. This very simple type of surface optimization protects the paint from damage caused by oxidation, salts, acids and insects. The product is non-yellowing and abrasion-resistant. The shine guarantee is 5 – 10 years when used professionally. Areas of application: Painted exterior surfaces of cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, mobile homes, caravans, boats, etc. Paint systems with clear varnish. Gloss and matt finishes. Car wrap & stone chip protection films that are solvent-stable. The gloss guarantee is 5 – 10 years when used professionally.

Use:

• Clean the surface with enevex® AT10 Specialcleaner followed by Pre-Cleaner to neutralize It
• Put the application cloth onto the applicator.
• Apply 12 – 18 drops of CP19 Car Paint Protection – to the application cloth and spread the product quickly on the surface (a visible film should form) – Apply component by component and max. half of the hood.
• Let the product dry for approx. 1 – 3 minutes (depending on the applied quantity, air humidity and ambient temperature)! The longer the product reaction on the coating, the greater the layer’s thickness and the greater the protective and hydrophobic effects.
• Remove surplus material with the first enevex® CT23 Ceramic Towel (in peripheral areas first, then work from the outside In with straight quick movements).
• Take another fresh enevex® CT23 Ceramic Towel and polish the surface with a little pressure (in peripheral areas at first, then from the outside in with circular movements)
• Should streaks still be visible, take another fresh enevex® CT23 Ceramic Towel and repeat the procedure until the streaks are not visible any longer (check with a light source).
• Recoating with enevex® CP3: possible after 20 minutes. Wait no longer than 35 minutes.
• Caution: Protect the product from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures.

Lifetime:

One layer of CP19 Car Paint Protection – has a lifetime of approx. 30 – 36 months. To achieve a longer protection time, more layers can be applied (see the Use section).

Each additional layer enhances the lifetime by a further 9 – 12 months. 

Weatherproof after: after 18 – 24 h

Fully cured after: after 9 – 10 days

pH resistance: pH 2 – 13 

Note after use: Coating products require a certain amount of time after application to bond to the surface and fully cure. enevex® CP19 Car Paint Protection is only fully cured after 9 – 10 days and offers full protection. Until then, the coating is still sensitive to heavy use. Bird droppings and insect residues should therefore be removed as quickly and gently as possible. In the first 14 days, please do not subject the vehicle to mechanical stress or strong friction caused by machine washing or hand washing with a brush. Care: Make sure to only use care products that do not damage the surface and have the same water-repellent properties as the coating. Please do not use any additional hot wax seals (e.g. in car washes).
