enevex® Aeroplane Paint Coating
enevex® Aeroplane Paint Coating is suitable for a wide range of aircraft surfaces. Thanks to its low material consumption, it is particularly effective for large surface applications. The coating provides reliable protection against damage caused by resins, acids, weathering, and mechanical impacts. It is strong, hard, and highly heat-resistant, withstanding temperatures up to +1090°C. Additionally, it possesses self-healing properties. During development, optimal compatibility with human health and the environment was a top priority. Application Areas: Various types of aircraft surfaces.
Properties:
- UV resistant and environmentally-stable
- Saltwater-proof
- Anti-graffiti effect and protection against almost all acids, bases, and organic solvents
- Resistant to temperatures from -50°C to + 1,090°C
- Resistant to chemicals (pH 2-13)
- Increases hardness and scratch resistance
- Non-flammable and non-corrosive
- Increases hardness and scratch resistance, with very high abrasion resistance
- Provides corrosion protection
- Easy-to-clean
Application:
- Clean the area to be treated and remove any grease.
- Place the application cloth over the applicator.
- Apply 12–18 drops of enevex® Aeroplane Paint Coating onto the application cloth and spread it evenly over the surface.
- Let the product evaporate for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove any excess using the enevex® CT23 Ceramic Towel.
- The product can also be optimally applied using fine spray application. On rough and absorbent surfaces, it can be applied by spraying or rolling.
- The product is dust-dry after 120 minutes.
- Important: Do not apply directly under sunlight. Protect the product from direct sunlight and frost.
- Once cured, the coating is resistant to acids, alkalis, and solvents with a pH value between 2 and 13.
- Recoating with Metal Protection: possible after 20 minutes. Wait no longer than 35 minutes.
Important:
- Protect the surface after treatment for at least 18 – 24 hours from dirt and moisture.
- Curing time can be shortened by approx. 2 – 3 days using separate drying.
- Air humidity must be within the range of 30 % to 80 %
- Consumption: smooth surfaces 4 – 8 ml / m2 absorptive/open-pored surfaces (absorbent 1-layer paints) 5 – 10 ml / m²
- The surface must not be exposed to any abrasion during curing!
| Consumption: | 4-8 ml/m² on smooth surfaces – 5-10 ml/m² open-pored surfaces |
| Application temperature: | +10°C ile + 35°C |
| Weatherproof after: | 18 to 24 hours at +20°C |
| Fully cured: | At ambient temperature: after approx. 6 to 8 days |
| Storage and shelf life: | At least 12 months at ambient temperature in tightly sealed original container |
| Areas of use: | AERO |
Technical explanations: Aeroplane Paint Protection is the following properties with a film thickness of 3 to 5 micrometers. (film thickness depends on the application procedure): Water-repellency of clean, empty, polished or painted surfaces. (The surface must be free of silicone and grease. Suitable cleaning agents are enevex AT10 & Pre-Clean). Optimizing of the coated substrate’s surface hardness. The coating has “self-healing” effects due to the unique manufacturing formulation (organic/inorganic components). No other coating system has these thermoelastic flow properties. Even parts exposed to a continuous stress of up to 1050 °C can be successfully sealed thanks to the high proportion of inorganic matter (standard formulation).
